Few historical events have had such a lasting and profound impact as the Reformation. The earthquake that shook up European life and society 500 years ago had several epicenters, including Zurich, Geneva and many other places across Europe. To this day, numerous cities in Switzerland are shaped by the effects of the Reformation.
These “Cities of the Reformation” are waiting to be explored by digital means. GPS-guided tours introduce and explain key points of interest with texts, images and audio. The app also provides access to a national event calendar for Reformation celebrations across Switzerland. The first version includes Basel, Bern, Chur, Geneva, Ilanz, Lausanne, Neuenburg, St.Gallen, Wildhaus, Schaffhausen and Zurich.
